  • Happy Birthday Zach!!!

    My 'baby' is turning 8 today.  I can hardly believe I have had children for 8 years!  Zach is growing into such a Godly young man.  It is so neat to see the Lord working in him.  He has an incredible tender heart and is the PERFECT big brother (most days).  The younger boys are very blessed to have Zach for a big brother, watching out for them.  I know God has amazing things in store for Zach.  We are very blessed to have him in our family!  We love you Zachary Isaiah, Happy Birthday!!!

  • Please keep Logie in your prayers

    He had an upper GI today to confirm that he does have a hiatal hernia.  The fundoplication that he had last time around has either slipped or come loose.  He is refluxing again pretty badly (which is why he probably hasn't been sleeping really well) and we don't know at this time if he is aspirating on this reflux or not.  I am making an appt with this new surgeon that we REALLY like to get his opinion of what to do.  It's possible that we may not be able to avoid a 3rd fundo surgery.  This new surgeon said a 3rd surgery is very risky and you are likely to come out with a worse problem than you went in with.  Obviously we are praying for no surgery.  But if they do need to do this, please begin praying for the surgeon.  We have heard awesome things about this man, so we really do trust his advice.  I will keep you updated when we have his appt, thanks so much!
